Joerne Sprehe at the Horsepark: On the one hand there are the remarkable performances of the young rider, for example Joerne Sprehe can count no less than eight medals at European Junior Championships on her impressive list of successes. Indeed, Joerne Sprehe was German women‘s champion and the winner of five titles at Bavarian Championships. In addition, she also won several Nations Cups, Grand Prix and Worldcup competitions, for example in Budapest, Poznan and Wiener Neustadt. Even the baby break in 2012 could not stop her success. Indeed, the season after the birth of her daughter in January 2013 was the best ever in her career.

On the other hand, she managed to establish a good business with her own stable in Fuerth. Since 2004 she manages the Horsepark which focusses on the training of horses and riders as well as on horse sale. Joerne Sprehe has made an international name for herself as a top rider with passion, know-how and a brilliant sense for young horses which she trains herself until they reach the top level. For example, Quidam‘s Cherie (father: Quidam‘s Rubin; mother: Lifestyle/Grannus), was sold to the Austrian magnate Frank Stronach and has achieved great results with Cian O’ Connor in Wellington, La Baule or Rotterdam, respectively.

As a result of the good symbiosis between sport performances, business in Fuerth, excellent cooperation with sponsors and successful teamwork with breeders, Joerne Sprehe achieved the Best Rider of Bavaria Award in 2014.

Joerne Sprehe originates from a family that has been connected to equestrian sport for many years. Successful athletes are among others her cousins Kristina, Tanja, Jan and Josef Jonas Sprehe, respectively. Kristina Sprehe is currently very successful in dressage sport. She won the silver medal with the German dressage team at the Olympic Games in London in 2012. In addition, she won the gold medal with the team and the bronze medal in the individual competition at the World Equestrian Games in Normandy in 2014.
Her uncles Albert and Paul Sprehe are well known in the equestrian world through Sprehe Stud and Sprehe Feinkost. The profound and long-lasting relationship with Joerne has played an important role in her riding career.
